Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and commitment to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) solutions throughout an engagement while using the company's senior supervisors at a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.

Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.

Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of the registered pupils in the instruction sector.

These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
